Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak are the two co-founders of the company Apple. Steve Jobs and Wozniak started Apple in 1976 when Steve Jobs was only 21 and Steve Wozniak was 26. Their first model of computer Apple I earned them $700,000 at $666 each unit. The next model the Apple II earned them 700% more at $139 million. In 1980, Apple Computer became a publicly traded company with a market value of $1.2 billion on the very first day of trading. Steve Jobs and Wozniak have contributed tremendously to the development of user friendly computer technology and today Steve Jobs alone is worth 8.3 billion dollars.
